Microsoft on Thursday launched the much anticipated new Windows 7 operating system. It comes with a host of tools for multimedia applications for business and retail customers. The new version is available in six editions for various user kinds targeting the the new netbooks, notebooks and desktop PC’s. The six editions are windows 7 Home Premium for Home consumers, Windows 7 professional for small and medium business, windows 7 starter, windows 7 Home basic, windows 7 enterprise edition and the Windows 7 Ultimate. With a host of newly added features like home group, windows live movies and Play to – Microsoft aims at overcoming the mistakes they made while developing Vista. The new features of Microsoft’s Windows 7 includes Quick boot up time, better multimedia functionalities and more enhanced program processing.
