Linux Ubuntu Empathy Instant Messenger : Gnome

Empathy is an instant Messenger system that runs inbuilt for the Linux Ubuntu OS and all current versions of GNOME including Ubuntu 9.10 which supports text, audio, video and transfer of files. Empathy uses the Telepathy protocol for Messaging. The features of Empathy Messenger include support for Gtalk, Jabber, IRC, MSN and all other messenger applications which are currently supported by the Pidgin messenger, support for IRC, voice and video call for google talk and MSN.
