Connect HTC Hero to Windows 7 Using HTC Sync

We all know that the HTC hero is an amazing Android smart phone. The Only issue with the whole HTC package is that HTC Hero does not come with a PC suite of its own. The only way to connect HTC smartphone to your PC is Via the HTC sync which is provided along with it. The absence of a PC suite makes it difficult to manage the Files on the Phone.

HTC sync is used to synchronize the hero with outlook express or MS outlook. It helps you to sync your outlook calender and contacts like a dream but the problem arises while connecting the Hero to a Pc with a windows XP or a Windows 7 operating system. CONNECT HTC HERO USING HTC SYNC

1) Install the latest Htc Sync ( Download it here )

2) On your phone select SETTINGS -> APPLICATION -> DEVELOPMENT

3) Check On USB DEBUGGING option

4) Again go to SETTINGS -> DATA SYNC -> PC

5) Connect your phone using the data cable with your PC

This would give no errors and would detect the HTC hero quite easily. The above method works both with windows xp and windows 7.
