Linux (Ubuntu) has now become one of the best Operating systems available with easy add on apps. But many of the Linux users are now looking for the latest Google Chrome OS which can be installed on Linux based systems. Google has officially released the Beta version of Google’s Chrome OS full setup Linux and is now available for download. In order to run the Google Chrome virtual appliance, you need to download a free VMware player or Virtual Box.
Once you have completely downloaded the Google Chrome OS beta full setup on to your hard disk – Unzip it. You will get a .ISO file with which you can create a virtual disk. Now follow these steps to install Google chrome OS on Linux.
Chrome OS installation Steps – LINUX
1) Provide a name for the newly created Virtual Machine.
2) Reset the Operating System type
3) Create a new hard drive for Boot and a new hard disk.
4) Select the storage type which you prefer.
5) Allocate Hard Disk Space ( 5 GB is more than enough )
6) Run the Newly Created Virtual Machine.
7) Now Run The Unzipped Chrome .ISO file
Click On “install Google Chrome” Link – Its Done
Follow the steps prompted during the installation for an error free setup of Google Chrome OS on Linux.
