For long we have been hearing about the launch of a $35 tablet in India which is officialy launched by the government. The latest News is that the android tabs would be available at retail stores for a price of Rs. 2999 from November. The android tablet would be available to indian students even at a cheaper price. The tablet runs the Android OS, Froyo 2.2 on a 366 Mhz processor with a resistive touch screen. The device comes with an internal memory of 256 MB RAM and internal storage of 2GB. Although these are very minimal when compared, it can be extended to 32GB.
