Make HTC hero as USB Modem – Connect Internet

It is really easy to setup a HTC hero as a USB internet Modem. Simply connect it with your Pc or a laptop and enjoy surfing the net with your 3G enabled HTC hero. Just like any other phone which offers this facility, the HTC Hero also comes with a network sharing mode where the network on your phone could be shared on your PC and laptops.  The steps are really simple. Make sure that you have downloaded and installed HTC hero Sync and is working properly. For those who haven’t done, download the HTC sync from here.

BROWSE INTERNET USING HTC HERO USB INTERNET MODEM – STEPS and SETTINGS.

1) Connect your HTC hero with your pc or laptop using the usb cable and wait for the message “connected”

2) Select SETTINGS on your HTC hero – go to WIRELESS CONTROLS  and Check on ENABLE NETWORK SHARING MODE

3) Windows will automatically search for the HTC Remote NDIS network adapter hardware settings and install it, wait for few seconds.

4) Once the installation is complete it will show “Connected”. Now you can start browsing the internet using your HTC Hero Android smart phone.
